'Dawn to Dusk'

Opening her latest solo exhibition in conjunction with the launch of her joint venture with Abigail Bisogno, Gallery Eleven; 'Dawn to Dusk' is an ode to the beautiful Cape which continues to be the main source of inspiration for her work. This exhibition is her largest single collection to date and encompasses an array of oceanic and beach scenes of the Cape, capturing all the hours of sunlight throughout a summers day.

 “Its the feeling of the soft sun as it touches your skin just after the sun rises and just before it sets, that perfect sweet spot of not to hot and not to cold, the opportunity that the start and end of a day bring, thats what I invite you to feel as you mentally escape in this body of work.”

 Her art is strikingly noticeable by her bright bold colouring and unique style. Bringing in a new pallet to her seascape works in this collection, the neutral and warm tones which capture the sunrise and sunset allow for a change in the feel and mood of her work without the change in subject matter.

 Marie-Louise has recently launched a successful fine art print range making h er artwork accessible not only to collectors but to all art lovers. Her prints of all her latest collections can be found in multiple boutique design stores across South Africa.
